Stranger things is an American Science fiction horror drama with the very interesting story line consists of 4 seasons (34 episodes) available on Netflix.

Stranger things definitely live up to all the hype, this had been a most talked about show since it came out in a good way. Most of the negative reviews comes either from bots or the competing streaming services.

This series was set in a fictional town Hawkins, Indiana during 1980's, the 80's atmosphere was shown beautifully. This series is full of mysteries and supernatural events occurring in Hawkins. The laboratory in Hawkins performs a secret experiment of paranormal and a supernatural activity involving a human test subject, and opened a portal to an upside-down world with many supernatural creatures. A group of friends tries to close the portal along with the help of Eleven (one of the human test subject of Hawkins laboratory with supernatural powers).

Stranger Things Season 1

Season 1 of stranger things has 8 episodes released on 15th July 2016. This season starts with the Eleven escapes from the Hawkins secret lab and at the same time Will disappears and Nancy’s friend Barbara is found dead. Will’s friends are desperate to find him nut instead found eleven. They think that eleven could somehow help in finding Will.

Stranger Things Season 2

Season 2 of stranger things has 9 episodes released on 27th Oct 2017. In this season new characters appears. Eleven meets a teenage girl who is exactly like her with psychic powers, with the number 008 tattooed on her arm just like eleven has number 11 tattooed in hers. Meanwhile in Hawkins a new girl Max enters and wants to join the boys group. Will was found and Hopper was trapped inside a tunnel and passes out. After Will was found he gets lot of visions from the upside-down world.

Stranger Things Season 3

Season 3 of Stranger Things has 8 episodes released on 4th July 2019. In this season it opens up that there is a Russian scientist’s involvement in this upside-down world. In season 3 there is lot of character development. Hopper adapted eleven as a daughter, Max and eleven became so close that she encourages eleven to use her power. Max’s brother Billy was controlled by Mindflayer (a creature from the upside- down world). Later in the episode with the help of Eleven Billy was freed from the Mindflayer. However, Billy was dead at the end. While closing the Upside-down World Hopper disappeared. And Eleven lost her powers in this fight.

Stranger Things Season 4

Season 4 of Stranger Things consists of 9 episodes with 2 volumes released on 27 May and July 1 2022. Season 4 has a much difference compared to other three seasons. Will and Eleven studies away from Hawkins. New antagonist enters in the story called Vecna who is in the upside-down world using the people with their fears to get into the real world. Eleven later founds that he is one of the test subjects just like eleven. Just like what other villains do, Vecna’s only motto is to wipe the entire human race. Eleven along with her friend’s tries to defeat him and stop him from entering the real world.

In February, 2022 Netflix renewed the series for 5th and the final season.
