BREAKING BAD

Breaking Bad is one of the most popular American Crime Drama tv show which was set and filmed in New Mexico. Breaking Bad follows Walter White an unpaid, overqualified high school chemistry teacher who was diagnosed with a Lung cancer. After his death he wants his family to be happy, so he turns his life to a crime and partners with his former student Jesse Pinkman, to produce and distribute methamphetamine to secure his family’s financial future before he dies. This show has 5 seasons with 62 episodes.

Season 1 (7 episodes): 20 Jan 2008 – 9 Mar 2008:

Walter diagnosed with Lung cancer, to improve the financial status of his family before he dies, he goes in a wrong direction of cooking Crystal meth along his former student Jesse and distributing in the name of Heisenberg. Walter’s brother-in-law, became aware of new meth roaming in his place which was cooked by Walter and he started his investigation in finding the Heisenberg.

Season 2 (13 episodes): 8 Mar 2009 – 31 May 2009:

After a failed attempt of distribution by Walter and Jesse which leaves one of their distributors arrested and one murdered. Walter then hires a corrupt lawyer Saul who then connects them to a big drug distributor Gus Fring. Later under some circumstance Jesse enters rehab.

Season 3 (13 episodes): 21 Mar 2010 – 13 June 2010

Skyler learns of Walter’s crime and seeks a divorce from him. Walter wants to retire from this drug trade, but Gus offers him a meth cooking job at a hidden lab with an assistant, Gale. In the meantime, Hank’s investigation somehow led to Jesse. While trying to find some evidence hank is attacked by Tuco’s cousins and became paralyzed. Walter was forced to kill two of Gus’s dealers to protect Jesse. After this incident Gus was enraged and orders to kill them both. However, walt convinces Jesse to kill gale so Gus cannot replace them.

Season 4 (13 episodes): 17 July 2011 – 9 Oct 2011

Gus tightens security at lab after Gale’s death. Skyler accepts Walt’s meth cooking and asks Saul to launder the earnings. Hank, in recovery, traces Gale’s death to Gus and the drug trade, so Walter plans to kill Hank. Walt tricks Jesse into turning against Gus, and convinces Hector, the last living member of the cartel, to detonate a bomb while meeting with Gus, killing them both.

Season 5 (16 episodes): 15 July 2012 – 29 Sept 2013

After Gus’s death, Walt, Jesse, and Mike start a new meth business. Later Walter kills Mike during an argument. Hank discovers Walt is Heisenberg and begin gathering evidence. Later in when Walt’s is arrested, jack’s gang arrives and killed Hank, captured Jesse and took most of the Walter’s money. After months in hiding, Walt wants to surrender but changes his plan after seeing Elliott and Gretchen publicly minimizes his involvement in starting Gray Matter because it was Walter's project. Walter then manipulates Elliott and Gretchen to give his amount of share to Walter Jr. once he turns 18. After poisoning Lydia, Walter admits to Skyler that he manufactured meth for his own satisfaction rather than for his family. Then Walter kills Jack and the rest of his gang with a remote turret and frees Jesse, who kills Todd. Walter asks Jesse to kill him, but Jesse refuses. The two share's a farewell glance. 


"Once you start watching from season 1, it will feel a bit slow but it will gradually heat up as the story progress. The story line and the characters in this series was constructed piece by piece, with giving attention to every details. Especially the character development of Walter White, being a High school teacher to the Drug Lord Heisenberg and a careless student Jesse Pinkman from low level street drug dealer to claiming strength almost as Heisenberg. The series developed the character in a terrific way. And breaking bad has the greatest conclusion to any tv shows ever.

Breaking Bad received a numerous Awards. The first season of the Breaking Bad received generally a positive review, while the rest of its seasons received extremely high positions. The moderate rise in viewership is in its 4th and 5th season when it was made available on Netflix. From there the series gave rise to the larger Breaking Bad Franchise."
