Mindhunter: One of the Best Psychological Crime Thriller Tv Show

Mindhunter is a very interesting American Psychological crime thriller tv show released on Netflix. This show is based on a true crime, adapted from a book called “Mindhunter”. It was one of the brilliant thriller series that is absolutely outstanding in every aspect. This series doesn’t have any disturbing scenes but still this tv show will disturb you in your sleep, especially those serial killers’ interviews will give you absolute chills. This story is set in 1977, in the early days of understanding about the criminal psychology. This show follows two FBI agents who operates the FBI’s behavioral science division. They together launch a project in which they interview an imprisoned serial killers and understand their psychology, get inside the mind of those serial killers and use this gathered data in solving and preventing the crimes that are hard to follow.

In this is show they interview various killers, just the way those killers explaining their kill scene will haunt you and give you chills.

Mindhunter currently has two seasons released with 19 episodes.

Mindhunter Season 1:

Mindhunter season1 Consists of 10 episodes, released on 13th Oct 2017.

In first season the timeline is between 1977 – 1980, Ford and Trench will begin their way of adventure by interviewing the famous serial killers in the prison. Their first interview was with a notorious serial killer Edmund Kemper.

(Edmund Emil Kemper III in real is an American serial killer who murdered a total of 10 people brutally and got a life imprisonment.)

Holden alongside kind of loses his mind by befriending Kemper in order to get him talk, it works but still Trench did not like Holden’s way of handling the serial killers.


Mindhunter Season2:

Mindhunter season2 consists of 9 episode, released on 16th Aug 2019:

In the second season of Mindhunter the timeline was set between 1980 – 1981. And while moving forward they got a chance to investigate the Atlanta murders of 1979 following the success of their collected data from the serial killers.

In season 2 they investigate more notorious serial killers than Kemper, Charles Manson and Tex Watson.

Mindhunter fans are greatly expecting for a season 3, but there is no news yet from the show side. And a news has been spreading that the series is on hold due to some budget issue.
