ATTACK ON TITAN

The one anime that every anime lover would have heard about is Attack on Titan.

Attack on Titan (aka AOT) (in Japanese Shingeki no kyojin) is a world-famous Japanese anime adapted from the manga that first premiered on 7 April 2013. This anime is available on Netflix, Crunchyroll, Funimation, Amazon Prime, and Hulu.

Let’s get into the titan world!!!

Attack on Titan is set in a post-apocalyptic world. Here huge number of people live inside a wall for centuries to protect themselves from the titans (A giant humanoids that eat humans). Attack on titan mains a character Eren Jaeger with his friends Armin and Mikasa. When there is titan breach near Eren’s place, his mom was eaten alive by a titan in front of his eyes. Eren desperately wants to join the survey cop who protects people inside the walls from the titans.

Attack on titan chronicles the journey of Eren along with his friends and survey cops, they fight against the titans and found about the origin and the history. While revealing the history they were really surprised and in the shock of what is about to come.

Attack on Titan seasons in order - No Spoilers

Attack on titan Season 1

Season 1 of AOT has 25 episodes first aired on 7th April 2013 and ends at 29th September 2013.

After Eren’s mom being eaten alive by a titan in front of his eyes, Eren joins the elite cop to kill the titans and protect the wall. In Season 1 something different happens in which you would have never seen anything like this any anime (I don’t want to spoil it). Later Eren continues his training, as more titans start to flood inside his homeland after that wall breach.

Attack on titan Season 2

Season 2 of AOT has 12 episodes first aired on 1th April 2017 and ends at 17th June 2017.

Season 2 is when all the main characters will be thrown into the action and the troops starts to learn the true nature of titans, along with this they also learn about some dark secrets of their members. At the end still more titans start to approach the wall inside and their battle for humanity still goes on.

Attack on titan Season 3

Season 3 of AOT has 22 episodes as volume 1 and 2. Volume 1 has 12 episodes, first aired on 23th July 2018 and ends at 15th October 2018. Volume 2 has 10 episodes, first aired on 29th April 2019 and ends on 1st July 2019.

In season 3 they fight other strong titans that comes out of nowhere and are new to them. They realize that the threat is not only from the titans but also from the people inside the wall. And they uncover the truth about their world and the humanity outside the walls. At the end of this season the table completely turns, everything they believe so far changes and started to understand the reality.

Attack on titan Season 4

Season 4 of AOT was first aired on 7th December 2020 with 16 episodes as volume 1 and ends on 29th March 2021. Later the volume 2 was released on 10th January 2022 with 12 episodes and ends on 4th April 2022.

No one in their dreams would have thought that the story line would turn like this. Everything you believed from the season 1 will change, you will start to question who is the enemy here. There will be a whole new character joining this season. After Eren learned about the truth about their situation, Eren had a devasting plan to take care of his homeland’s enemies.

Attack on titan is still on production and fans are waiting for the 3rd Volume of season 4, which will be aired on 2023.

The story will be confusing at the beginning but later on when you understand it, woah… it will be mind-blowing!!! After season one it truly proves every theory, you have is wrong and turns the table, that is when the anime starts to fire up.

Attack on Titan is my highly recommended anime to watch."
